Midlife hit harder than I expected.
I was running a successful private practice. I was active. I had family, friends, hobbies. From the outside, nothing was “wrong.”
Inside, I was exhausted.
Chronic pressure. Perfectionism. Constant self-judgment. Disordered eating (that didn’t always look dramatic). They all quietly ran the show.
I coped the way many capable women do. I tightened control. I managed food. I trained harder. I worked more. I stayed busy. If I could just get it right, I’d finally feel steady.
What I was trying to manage wasn’t just behavior. It was the constant hum of expectation, the belief that if I could just do better, I’d feel better. Be better.
Things started changing when I stopped trying to out-discipline that pressure, and started getting curious about what was actually fueling it.
Not just why I was doing what I was doing, but what I needed in those moments instead.
That shift reshaped how I relate to food, my body, my work, my relationships...my whole life.
Now I help women do the same without the shame, confusion, or white-knuckling I went through.

Force and self-correction only get you so far.
What actually shifts things is learning to recognize what’s happening before you automatically react, and having a different way to respond.
This work isn't forceful, rigid, or dogmatic.Â
It's about learning to work with your true self instead of against it.Â
That's the lens I bring to every client: thoughtful, curious, and grounded...with room for lightness and laughter.

My work is grounded in formal training in health & wellness coaching, food and eating psychology, resilience coaching, and trauma-informed practice. Along the way, I’ve also trained with leaders in intuitive eating, body image, behavior change, and mental fitness.
